Summer is here….brings changes to weekly schedule effective June 14

Zumba participants…YEAH summer is here!!! and with it brings a summer schedule.

It has been a busy spring…I partook in the Breast Cancer Zumbathon which was a huge success at GRC; I did my first Zumba party at a 50th Birthday celebration and will be doing another this weekend in Craig Henry.

As mentioned in my email the new schedule took effect June 14th so please take a look (just click on the link) .  I have reduced the number of Zumba classes offered, changed days for Core strength and stretch and there has also been a time change.    Our numbers have been decreased with the increasing nice weather…I miss dancing with you but love that you are being active and enjoying Ottawa’s outdoors while biking, blading, running and playing beach volleyball.  Regardless of the activity try to make sure you  are raising your heart rate to the point where your breathing is being challenges to get the health benefits…and have FUN.

Note as mentioned this week, St Stephen’s Church Location in under review for Monday 6pm evenings class during the summer months with the decreasing numbers, the fact that St Stephen’s church is not air-conditioned and I have a space that has accommodated 15 with air conditioning and fans.  I am considering moving the class to my home gym Ellefitness where some of you may have been last week or on Wednesday evenings.  I will be sending out a poll and would appreciate your feedback.   Till we dance again…laugh, dance and be healthy…ZUMBA
